The Tarboro Choral Society

The mission of The Tarboro Choral Society is twofold: To bring singers together from Eastern North Carolina for the study of classical composers, their musical styles, and the times in which they lived in order to offer a more scholarly and authentic performance; and to provide performance opportunities for professional and nonprofessional musicians for the purpose of culturally and artistically enriching the lives of the citizens of Eastern North Carolina.

Dr. Nettie Williams

Dr. Nettie Jean Williams began her career at West Edgecombe School teaching music to elementary, middle, and high school students. During this time she also served as the Director of Music for Calvary Episcopal Parish in Tarboro. She is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Music Education.
